Born in Los Angeles California, Miranda Cosgrove was a TV star in the early age of three in a TV commercial. Megan Parker from the Nickelodeon TV show Drake and Josh, is her most well-known character. Margo is the eldest child of Gru in the Despicable Me movie series. The year 2012 saw her as the highest-paid child actress worldwide. As well as her passion for acting, she also likes to sing and has released a few good songs including Kissin U About You and others that are hits. Miranda has a YouTube channel on which she posts all of her own songs and cover versions of songs.

Despacito the song of Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi along with Daddy Yankee was released in 2017. It went on to become the most one streamed music at that period within the space of six months. The song was a mix of reggaeton and pop music that not only drew attention to Latin music but as well reggaeton. Billboard's Top 100 featured two songs which were Spanish mostly, and four in 2016. However, during the heights of Despacito's fame in 2017 there were 19 mostly Spanish tracks which made it into the Top 100. In 2020, it was 41. Justin Bieber remixed Despacito 2017 as a bilingual rendition. In the following months, several artists collaborated with reggaeton superstars including Drake and Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma and Medellin 2019.
